Center diff options

Got a 6 speed non dccd box in my 93wrx,dont wont to go to the expense of dccd but is there any other options to help with turn in/understeer?Like a fixed split center diff etc

Cheers Rob

You have a fixed split centre diff at 50/50!

Cusco do 35/65 open diffs for the 5-speed, not sure about the 6- but they aren't cheap!

You can use a DCCD diff (rebuilt by someone who knows what they are doing) as an uncontrolled (no electrics) rear biased plate diff.

Would be good to find who does that but most likely cost more than cusco diff due to initial cost of the dccd center diff

i picked up a dccd center diff for £150 + postage

Anyone who knows what they are doing (and I don't mean build by numbers) should be able to do it, the bigger issue is that a few extra bibs and bobs are needed, but its not rocket science if you know what your doing - A fried and I did it with a spare diff we borrowed to prove it out, just needs the right size bellville washer to create the extra preload and some intelligent fettling of the ramps.
