Classic Door Cards Removal & replacement
Does anyone know how to remove the rear door cards on a classic impreza. I have got it nearly all off, but theres something near the handle than wont budge.
Does anyone know where I can get a replacement. The dealer ruined mine by spraying it grey! Thanks |
It's a LONG time since I did this, but I'll try and help.
I assume you've removed the screw located under a cover towards the rear centre of the doorcard? You also need to remove the window switches, by gently prising out from the front, I can't remember if there's another screw under those. then remove the SURROUND of the handle, it pushed forwards and prises up. Finally, undo all the clips along the bottom edge with a flat screwdriver, table-fork handle etc, and LIFT the doorcard vertically before detaching from the door. Replacements can be had from dealers, (expensive), breakers, (who may want to sell you a set), and off e-bay. I'd give Grade A at Hayfield a ring first. |
Yep tanya's pretty much there...
Just dont forget the triangle behind the wingmirror too...just pulls out towards you. |
