Tyres (Road legal vs. Rally)
 

hi,

I've been using goodyear eagle f1 tyres (215x40x17).

A friend of mine knows some rally guys and he asked me if i wanted some used or new rally tyres.

I'm thinking about giving it a go, but I'm finding hard to find the correspondence of the road legal tyres sizes and rally tyres.

Can some one give me some kind of chart that matches both legal and rally tyres sizes?

Or what kind of size sould i get to match the 215x40x17.

215 40 17 has a diameter of approx 605mm

Motor sport tyres are usually measured in width 200mm etc diameter 620mm etc 17 rim size.
200/620/17

something close would be, 200/615-17 C03
200/615 - 17 Kumho Ecsta C03 Moulded Slick Rally Tyre
