Anybody got a new-ish version of MSWord?

Having Problems? We are:(

Set it to underline, for example, it doesn't want to be switched off.
It refuses to line up characters, for example grades of exams if you are doing a CV.
And almost all the old tabs, edit, underline, insert, bold, type of font, etc are hidden and hard to find.

WHY, oh why did Micro$oft mess with it?

Why don't you download and use Open Office Or? Fully MS document compatible and its free to use.

...and has even more bugs than MS Office :D

Which version of office are you using out of interest? I'm using Office 2007 and haven't noticed any of those problems...

I think this might be what you are after: Classic Menu for Office 2007 - Free software downloads and reviews - CNET Download.com

Incidentally, I find the best way to get things lined up the way you are trying is to use tables. You need a two column one with Exam Title in one and the grade in the other. Merge cells on the lines where you are putting in titles (such as GCSE, Diploma, Degree, whatever)
