Wimmins - Which one for my ma?

Which One of these do you think a lady of a certain age would appreciate the most?

This?

Ask her?

Christmas pressie, i.e Suprise!

She thinks she's just getting a painting i've already bought her you see ;)

Actually, although I'm not a 'blingy' person at all, I really like the third one. The other two are lovely but I'd be worried that they're not as robust.

:)

Choices, choices....

1 = Dress watch (when out and about)
2 = Daily wearer but with leather strap
3 = Daily wearer you can also wash up in ;)

Go for no. 3 IMHO, looks good, still allows her to do the washing up without taking it off and a daily wearer to boot! :thumb:

I prefer no 3 but that's because the other two would look lost on my wrist and I'm not a big vintage fan, I would consider what style she normally wears and go from there.

I think the first 2 are horrible, the 3rd is OK, but I've seen nicer looking watches in H Samuel.

dpb 08 December 2008 11:22 AM

Number 1 looks reasonable , number 3 fairly gross ( inc heavy id have thought) - But there you go im a bloke so what do i know .

- Does she really not have one allready

richiewong 08 December 2008 11:24 AM

3rd one, bet that'll cost a fortune though!

Nat 08 December 2008 11:26 AM

No, she hasn't got a really nice watch already. It would be a dress/wearing out watch (well i'm assuming she wouldn't wear it to work!) rather than a daily wearer.

I'd choose No3 myself but i know i'm often guilty of buying people things because i like them not because i think they will :lol1:

richiewong 08 December 2008 11:30 AM

If it's a dress watch then the 1st one.

They are all good looking, each in their own way. I personally find number one is the most interesting to look at.
