DS2500 vs M1155
Hey,
Looks like i have narrowed down my new pads to m1155 and ds2500. Gonna be used for fast road/light track. The mintext are about 1/3 cheaper. But is the performance 1/3 less? My bro is gonna buy them for a Christmas pressie so the m1155 fits nicely into his budget. the ds2500 just over. However i can always contribute :) Looks like these will be going onto some black diamond disks |
imho i would add and get ds2500, i've not used mintex so couldn't comment on those but i've had ds2500 on my last scoob and now this one and never had any issues with them and they are very good:)

I had the mintex in my brembo's before I switched to K sports 8 pots
I found them very good, even from cold with next to no fade but they squeal alot and I mean alot. It drove me nuts in the end. you couldn't move the car around on the drive without them squealing let alone out on the road |
consider endless racing pads....check out the group buy section

they still gotta be road worthy and function from cold untill i drive quick enough to justify an upgrade.
Im still stuck between the two. Can get mintex for 80 quid, whilst ds2500 for 140. Double it up 160 vs 280. Tis a significant amount. I might go with the mintex untill i find i need an upgrade then go straight for Godspeeds big brake Kit. Its only 650 inc pads and disks! |
?? double what up?? normally brake pads are priced in axle sets..........
