Webcams in towns?

Any site where webcams can be accessed?

Would be good to click on a webcam to see what the weather is like where you are planning to go.

The link below is of Broadgate Circle, just off Bishopsgate/Liverpool St Stn, in London. To me it is one of the best ever uses of the interweb. 4 cameras, 24/7/365

Used to be a google hack that you could search unsecured cctv cams, although there were alledgly loads off them to be watched !! I heard that there was not much off interest ever happening on them !!

possibly just not come across the best ones yet ??!!

seemingly a lot off users forgett to secure there own cams and have no idea that there private goings on can all be monitored by anyone who should wish to view such a thing ??!!

p.s Belive if you type in " cctv google " within youtube there may even be people naught enough to show you exactly how to do the above !!

if you should happen to stumble upon one off the better ones worth watching please do share it with us just so we know what to avoid !!!!!

Weren't thieves hacking into webcams to see if people were in before burgling them recently ?

The Police are usually looking for CCTV operatives on a voluntary basis, must be interesting to see what goes off over a weekend.

Doesn't the CC in CCTV stand for Closed Circuit? How can these be "hacked" into? :wonder:

FM, to run a cable from all the camera's to a council office/police station would cost a fortune. The signal is probably sent over the internet using existing phone cables.

Or just RF Signals?

Anyone got anything in/around Lymington?

The weather says it will be fog all day, whilst sunny up here where I am.

Would be good to look and see if the fog has lifted before I set out, as I will stay here if it hasn't! :D
