How much is a complete new bumber and lip spoiler for a p1 as i've just had an argument with a traffic bollard and it won.Is it worth an insurance claim or not.
Thanks chris. |
Ouch!
Lip spoiler is £364 +VAT I believe. Bumper - dunno. :( |
Thanks Puff but does anyone know the cost of the whole front bumper and lip fitted please not sure if an insurance claim would be best or not.

I know someone selling a lip, fitting the lip is easy, its just rubber clipped!

Chris,
The bumper is an aditional £500 ish I seem to remember. The prices are, in true IM fashion, unpainted. Contrary to what P1 Enthusiast says, the fitting instructions for a P1 lip show that it needs to be bonded for a proper fit, and how to do it. So you're looking at around £900-£1000 + Painting + fitting + VAT. Cost for these vary from dealer to dealer. Claiming would depend on your NCD and excess I suppose. Josh |
i replaced mine about 6 months ago, im sure the front bumper/lip was about £440 plus vat, the original had some type of seal between the lip and the bumper, my bodyshop said i didnt need that and its been fine since, i hit a traffic cone on a track day
