What sort of power are you running? If you have a standard car, get a standard clutch, it should be ok for up to 260-280bhp.

Any motor factors should be able to supply you with one.

clutch

Best to go for a Exedy Racing Organic pink box kit or AP Racing Organic kit at anything above 320bhp/320lbs, otherwise you will end up spending more replacing o.e. clutches more often in the long run - (spend more replace once!) , it is also advisable to replace the flywheel at the same time with a lighter aluminium unit as the box will already be off hence no extra labour cost - instant throttle response :thumb:

Expect to pay anything between £175 - £240 to have the clutch replaced at any reputable Subaru specialist

Really need to know what power your putting out as I had 320bhp in my classic and put in a standard Exedy clutch. It spat it back out within 7 weeks. So I went with the Exedy racing clutch from APi David with no problems

The clutch mentioned here is the APi Exedy Performance Organic which benefits form a change of friction material that we apply here in the UK.

It's good for 400 / 400 and operates at lighter pedal pressure than a standard one.

3 parts set is £295.00 + VAT + carriage.

We keep good stocks.

had my clutch done by api back in September.

Unless you have someone you trust or someone can recommend I'd take the drive up to API, you aren't much further away than I am from them and you know they'll do a good job.

They gave good advice, and managed to fix a couple of scooby rattles at the same time :)

i phoned them and spoke to simon so im thinking to get the clutch and flywheel from them.
