Taffy Racing

So not to clog up the forums, I've just registered my new website:

www.taffy-racing.com

If all goes well, and I finally get my Mk2 Escort, or if I can't get rid of the scooby, then this site will be all about the mods/restoration etc on the car

I'm not going anywhere mate, I don't want people moaning about an old Ford thread:lol1:

As mentioned on numerous occasions, the ESC is firstly about the people in it, so I'm not walking away from the club. It's been a very hard year for me, and the support given has been tremendous. To be honest, I'm still not over my brother, and I'm really finding it hard to get interested in things:(

Both me and my bro had Mk2 escorts, though the git had a better one than mine - a 2 door 1600 sport and mine was a 4 door with 1600 sport running gear! So this project is important for me, I want to completely restore a classic car and modify it. The website will be a build diary, with all the ups and downs.

Just to put a finacial point across:

Stage 3 engine block - £1100
Janspeed complete exhaust £250
Janspeed headers £200
Cibie Super Oscars - £75 each (2up 2 down is a must IMO:norty:)
Koni adjustable suspension - £4
Minilite 15" Alloys with yokohama tyres - £450 (brand new)
Zakspeed X-pack bodykit - £350

Compare that to a scoob:lol1:

I got bored with my kit car, as it wasn't registered, making a 1980's designed car comply with 2008 SVA regulations was getting a real nightmare, hence selling it, but I won't have to worry about that with the Mk2
