2001 Blitzen Legacy.

I have recently purchased a 2001 Subaru Legacy Blitzen S/W, i've done a few of the usual mods and want to lower it slightly with some new springs, does anyone have any advice on what sort of springs to get?

Hi,i take it you have the standard factory fitted Bilsteins?.I have had a b4 with Eibach springs,i have also heard of a prodrive spring kit.Good choice of car is yours red?.Lee.

Thanks, yea, it has the factory Bilsteins and the Porsche designed 17" Wheels 215x47 R17 Yokohoma tyres, I just want it to sit nicely with not too much gap between the tyre and wheel arches and also with no gaurd rub, do you get any rub with your Eibach springs?

Its not Red its Black so looks quite stealthy and goes pretty well, only mods I have done are the exhaust 2 1/2" and K&N tray air filter so would be close to 300bhp at the flywheel, i'll post a pik once I have lowered it.

Hi, i had no rubbing problems with the Eibach springs,i am not sure how low they were, you are pretty limited with these cars, there is not a lot of aftermarket springs about!I currently have a 2001 b4 on coilovers VERY hardcore, more suited to a very smooth track, totally undrivable over the speed bumps of London.Lee.

Yea, I had full Sustech racing suspension on one of my old cars (a very modified 400BHP R33 Nissan Skyline gts25t) that was hardcore too, especially on New Zealand roads which are not the smoothest. I don't want that again, it actually hurt my back just driving around town, handled friggin amazingly tho.

Gunna try and find some springs today and get them fitted this week.
