What beer\lager\wine do you drink at home? (top 3)

1. Carlsberg (has to be a can for me)

2.Kronenbourg Blanc Bottle (would be first but i can only manage a couple as it can be a bit sickening after 2)

3.Cobra Beer (Quality Indian Beer, only got into it after most curry houses round our way have it on tap)

What do you lot drink? :)

Kieran_Burns 22 November 2008 10:09 PM

Circlemaster
Fidlers Elbow
Hobgoblin

There is a good reason for this: the local co-op have them at 99p a bottle! :D

Well that and they are great drinks!

Jeem 22 November 2008 10:18 PM

Robinson diluting orange, dont drink much but if i do get :freak3: its on tennents and miller

pnbond007 22 November 2008 10:19 PM

Envile Ginger
Stella
Bud

Lisawrx 22 November 2008 10:51 PM

Fosters for me. :)

davyboy 22 November 2008 10:54 PM

Pilsner/larger that is not brewed in the UK.

Bitburger
Warstiener
Budwieser Budvar
Staropramen
Proper Grolsch
Heineken

If none of the above then a pale ale :D

speedymonkey 22 November 2008 11:19 PM

German beers mainly, favorite being Krombacher Pilsner :notworthy

Also as above Warstiener/Bitburger/Jever/Erdinger are all good too :)

When going to partys/BBQ's usually San Miguel/Stella/Red Stripe all kinda similar really :Suspiciou

Wine im not to educated on, as ive only been drinking it the last couple of years (white and rose only, dont like red....... yet!) so tend to drink the lower end stuff ie Jacobs Creek/Gallo ect as id just be guessing on the more expensive wines and most would probably end up going down the sink :o

wagrain 22 November 2008 11:20 PM

Main 3 in no particular order of preference:

Magners Cider (summer only)
Stiegl Goldbrau
Guinness

All Torque 23 November 2008 12:03 AM

Tetleys smooth flow
Marstons smooth
or Guiness

Anything else i`m up with heartburn all night

scoobysmiff 23 November 2008 08:02 AM

Warsteiner

Warsteiner

Although I do like a nice Magners with ice in the summer after work everynow and again, Bulmers is a good alternative to Magners though.

As for Wine, it depends on what i have been eating that puts me in the wine mood?
Red meat meals mean I drink red wines, I am quite into South African Pinotages' at the moment where as white meat meals obviouosly incurr a white wine penalty and for the most part I like the Australian wines, Hardys are a favourite :luxhello:

M535I 23 November 2008 08:20 AM

corona mate , had it in spain this year nad it's real nice and easy to drink , i find stella etc etc to strong and just don't like the taste , there thats the post from the lightweight of the sn board lol .

Pete 23 November 2008 08:59 AM

Wine for me & the misses, usually Hardys Stamp Shiraz, or Oxford Landing..

Scoob99 23 November 2008 09:44 AM

Stalla
A Nice bottle of red, mainly Aussie.
In the summer if it is hot Magners or a nice cold Guinness, mind you I had a nice pint of Bitter the other week:D
Cheers
Colin

Becks Vier.

"Classic" red or white depending on the food (Bordeaux, Rioja or similar to red, Sancerre, Chablis or similar if white). Don't mind a good new world red but often too heavy and new world whites have all the subtlety of a yellow sledgehammer. Apart from the odd NZ white.

Leslie 23 November 2008 09:50 AM

£8 bottles of red wine at half price, and my own sloe gin.

Lews :)

Klaatu 23 November 2008 10:06 AM

Beer; Becks, Hansa.
Wine; White (NZ), red, (Aus). Almost all are great.

Blue by You 23 November 2008 10:10 AM

Stella
Fosters
More Stella

njkmrs 23 November 2008 11:03 AM

Becks and more Becks .

Even more now Morrisons have it on offer at 3 cases for £18 .!!!

Nate 23 November 2008 11:19 AM

I cannot get on with the likes of Fosters, Stella, Bud or any mass produced lager actually as I get a headache after just drinking one bottle.

Properly produced beer though, I can drink and drink, I just wish I could drink the mass produced stuff as it is cheaper ...... But doesn't taste as good :thumb:

jods 23 November 2008 01:15 PM

Kronenbourg 1664 (Dynamo)
Becks Vier
Desperados (French beer with Tequila)

chrisUK300 23 November 2008 01:28 PM

Savannah dry cider for me, with lots of ice :thumb: better than magners and bulmers IMO

when the lagers run out VODKA

Torquemada 23 November 2008 02:54 PM

Yeah, I'll drink pretty much anything, barring things like specialbrew etc., yuk!
Similarly to Floodboy, I can't drink a large amount of Kronenbourg without turning into an axemurdering psychopath, for some reason :Whatever_

Really getting back into Moretti again though :)

renny 23 November 2008 03:16 PM
