I think that 99 on cars have a phase 2 rail rather than a pre 99 that has a phase 1. Could be wrong though, and probably am:lol1:

yes the second link is for the phase 2 rails unfortionatly more expensive.

Pink injectors are from a New Age STi and therefore top feed.
As Classics are side feed injectors the New Age and Classics are NOT INTERCHANGABLE

Thanks Harvey, thats cleared that up then.

I know that i can get a bit more power from my vf35 because its only running 310 at the moment with the standard top mount. I is going to be worth getting a front mount and bigger injectors? I think when paul at zen mapped it he did it so it was safe on the standard top mount.

My STi 3 Wagon with standard ECU, turbo, injectors and TMIC could do 335 bhp and I monitored both ambient temp and had an air charge temp guage that stopped reading at 69.9c.
With the car at normal temperature, a sprint from stand still to 100 mph had the ACT guage off the clock.
I am sure your car is suffering from excessive ACTs and an FMIC would add both safety and power but do not fit an FMIC unless you are prepared to have the car remapped.

I am going to have it mapped by paul. Do you think its worth getting the bigger injectors? or stick to the 440s'

Personally on a VF35 setup i wouldn't bother going with a FMIC, i would go for a newage STI intercooler conversion instead as it will be far less laggy and they are known to be good for around 400bhp.
I would say 440's should be ok with a VF35, although u could add an Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator so the fuel pressure can be increased to spueeze a little more out of the injectors.
