watching just now. should be interesting scoob running gear in a golf. cant believe they paid so much for salvage scoob though.

bioforger 17 November 2008 11:45 PM

£700 ? that's nothing for all the running gear in my book.

euan_r 17 November 2008 11:52 PM

last rolling road day i was at guy turned up with v2 sti saloon which he had bought from trader for 350 or 450, cant remeber exactly. i nearly keeled over.

seems they made a pretty good job putting it together, but i'm sure lipu will make it look like sh1t :nono: oh and i thought £700 was cheap

wrx287 18 November 2008 01:11 AM

I thought £700 was quite cheap. I paid £350 for just a bottom end.

fair play those mechanics did a good job of fixing in the scoob running gear i thought the engine would be broken due to the front end damage, next week leepu is going ruin it with his "bespoke design" ie ****e just like every other car he has laid his hands on,did you noticed that the old cars are parked all over the place there i bet they havent sold any of them.
btw should we do a was it you on the scoob someone on here must know who it belonged to.hope they are ok looked like a heavy crash.:(

Why did they keep saying it was 300BHP, looked like a standard Blob WRX to me.

The engine also mysteriously gained some spangly bits which they didn't explain.

Looking forward to the next instalment though.

bioforger 19 November 2008 02:32 PM

Correct it's just a humble wrx, might of been remapped though, so prolly 280. They did say at 1 point after takin it out they were going to 'freshen' it up a bit.
