Hmmm bit of distance, but a quick search (using Kent council's postcode) bought this up...

Lol too far..shame as I think she would like a ka. All small run-arounds in london seem to be either a heap of sh*t or too much doh for what they are. Probably going to end up driving for hours... I give on too easy! :cuckoo:

The above Ebay link too far too? Wasn't sure of your location within Kent so took a wild guess.

Both look good cars.

Stick in a post code (like I do) and do a search for upto £700 within a certain radius on Ebay. I do this all the time and it's suprising what you see going cheap (if you had the money to speculate for a little profit later on).

Tucker82 18 November 2008 08:46 PM

TBH I just take a look if she finds one she likes, then I tell her if its pants! Just thought i'd see if anybody on here had something as its prob gonna be a bit better cared for...

There's a guy on the Welsh section (turbodean) who was recently selling a pug 106 diesel for £495. I don't know if he still has it. Its certainly worth a look.

I got one myself as my run around and they are great little motors.

NACRO 21 November 2008 12:22 PM

Micra a good choice but japanese cars tend to cost more to insure.

My money would go on something from Ford or GM with a small basic petrol engine ie Fiesta or Corsa. The diesel option isn't worthwhile unless doing a lot of miles IMO.

Second that. Inbetween Scoobs I had a 106 1.5 deisel Escapade L2 or whatever:lol1: Had it for 7 weeks, totally gutless, couldn't go fast enough to crash it, and it did 1,000,000 mpg - was great :luxhello: Would be perfect for her, and never went wrong once in the time I had it.
