Strange question, but has anyone got or knows where to get a list of timezones and for each place the proper abbreviation. Daylight saving info is a bonus.
I'd like a list I can paste into Word or a bunch of lists. Cheers |
Try here - they have a list of about 300 abbreviations!
|
found that one. It doesn't contain the real name for the abbreviation (I'm not clicking on all of them ) and I still need the hour adjustment too.
Cheers for the reply tho'. |
double click on the time at the bottom right of your screen (windows) - click tab for time zones - there all in there.

That's not a complete list and most importantly, I don't want to have to type anything in!!!
Sorry to be a whiney get, but it's a big list to type out! |
If you've got access to a unix box try the timezone db. On HP-UX it's /usr/lib/tztab, think it's /etc/timezone on solaris. They're just ascii files.

This sounds good. Anyone got access to one?
|
I'll mail you a copy of one if you like
|
you're a star!
