just paid 220 quid for 6 months tax on a 57 wrx. It was 300 quid last year for 12 months.

yeah i have just had mine thru, 56 plate wrx £400 for the year £220 for 6 months.

did it change half way thru 2006 or somrthing

ive no idea mate, what i think they 're doing is charge u a fortune for tax so u think "yeah this pay per drive is a great idea, where do i get my sat tracker from"

Apparently the tax class changed to £400 12mths for cars registered after mar06, mines a 55reg end of jan 06, for a while i was gutted that i had'nt waited till the 06 reg in march but turns out my impatiance is going to save me £190 a year, funny how things turn out:luxhello:

only for another year and a half (april 2010 i think) then everybody with a scooby registered after 1st march 2001 will be paying i think £455 per year (unless goverment do a u turn):(

p.s unless the emission's are less than 255g/km on some scoobs not sure if there is any:wonder:

Don't worry yours go's up to £400 from next april.
