Can anyone give me the best set up figures for the MY01 on 18" so I can take them to a garage and get the car set up?? I'm fed up with tramlining and having to fight the car. I'm based in Ireland so unfortunately Powerstation etc. is not an option.

Thanks in advance.

Someone must know?? There are loads of posts saying what a difference it makes!!!

I wish i did know as i have the same car as you with the same problems...

AliWrx 24 February 2002 10:57 PM

Wot tyres are you running? Are they P-zero's?
I have heard they cause a lot of the problem with Tramlining as well!

I thought you lived in the USA?;)

what tyre presures you running? that can affect tramlining masively if you are too low on presure.

At last a few responses!! Tyre pressures 32 all round and tyres Falken (!) Also 18" Speedline GT1.

Hey George,
I always believe in the Prodrive settings. It's what we run on both our Scoobs. That's about 1 degree negative (maximum equal negative) camber on the front and 1mm toe in all round. Really transforms the car. When your tyres run out I would recommend going for Toyos. I'm a recent convert from SO2's as they are no longer available here in Ireland except in 16's.

We have set up many of the MY01's as well as earlier models. We would be glad to help out if we can. Where are you based? Just be careful about giving your car to some of the coyboys we have around Ireland as I've seen at least 2 cars very badly set up by so called "experts" to the point of being dangerous. Also beware of the "chain" tyre places as although they have the equipment it is only as good as the guy that uses it.

Paul I'm in Lisburn up North, where are you? I got the settings from TSL and am having them done locally - probably won't be right mind you. If you could help me with an exhaust - I have the PPP and would like a full system maybe I could make a trip??
