I am not so fond of Brand, but Jonathan Ross is really good both on Television and Radio.

Come on, from my understanding it was something picked up in the background. They were having a laugh, OK I can see why Manuel (give him a slap on the back of the head) would be offended but the rest of the public?

I would understand if constantly trying to be a quick witted funny smartarse was actually funny, but its not because he has to try, and fails in the process.

Brand? Just another stand up comedian that will fizzle out in a few years. Which is what should have happned to Woss decades ago.


Edit: I should add I can't see the fuss or the problem about this so called controversial answer phone message. Whilst I didn't find it funny it nor offensive to anyone but the person who had to listen to the message on their voicemail. But if it makes a good excuse to get rid of the waste of licence money that is Woss, then so be it LOL.

Is he worth 6 mill a year????? I dont think so, used to love his show but its soooo tired and jaded now. Brand thinks he's about 100 times funnier than he actually is.

Brand should be chopped into little pieces and fed to the dogs. Ross is great and is worth every penny and should keep his job.

Interestingly, there were only 2 complaints about their behaviour last week, from people actually listening at the time.

Now the press have got hold of it (since old misery guts Sachs complained), even the PM (who in the middle of a financial crisis obviously has nothing better to do) has jumped on this ridiculous bandwagon.

Russell Brand is the funniest man in Britain. His radio show is excellent.

Don't like Brand Ross is cool, what they did though is out of order, I'm all for a laugh and regularly take the pee out of my friends, getting a cheep laugh at someone else's expense is ok if its with the consent of that person, but causing stress or humiliation to someone is not funny, its like bullying and out of order, simple as. From my understanding of things it caused stress and concern and they weren't given permission to broadcast it ether, if it was me I'd be taking them to the cleaners. What would happen if you or I made such a malicious phone call? don't think we would get away with saying it was just for a laugh.
