I think the best panel filter to go for is the TSL green panel filter (also used in rallying). However, no panel filter will give much of a gain over the standard paper filter.

When i fitted new panel fitler, got my info from here Subaru Review Engine Part Reviews

bought green just because 5-5 ratings.

is green the way forward then? green or the group n green?

As mentioned there really isn't a lot wrong with the standard paper jobbie as it flows quite well. If you must then the Green Cotton ones are pretty good.

does the expense justify buying a green one ?, cause if there aint any gains through panel filter then cheap and cheerfull is good for me,but going for about 300bhp,is it nessesary to go for the green?
