It's snowing!

I thought I'd get in first with the 'first snow thread' this winter :D

It's just started up here in North Yorks, fortunately I'm off down to the balmy south tomorrow where I expect shorts and bikinis are still the order of the day ;) :D

BOB.T 28 October 2008 02:35 PM

I alerted Sal to the snow so technically I win! :smug:

Devildog 28 October 2008 02:37 PM

You could wear shorts and bikinis up there as well if you wanted. With the added benefit of somewhere to hang yours and your friends coats at the same time! :norty:

(Derby 5C and fooking cold rain)

davegtt 28 October 2008 02:47 PM

Got to say, I just cycled out to town for lunch and can confirm its blady cold outside. definately was this morning going to work, should invest in some gloves.

SiPie 28 October 2008 02:49 PM

Should i remove my ABS fuse ?

Why aren't scoobs great in the snow ?

Just crashed my scoob, it went straight on ?

Why are scoobs crap without winter tyres ?

We will of course be needing photographic evidence of you wearing your bikini in the barmy sarf :D

Snot snowing here yet and as Bob Rawle is coming to map my car on saturday it better bloody well not start either!!! especially as I have a BBQ planned for saturday :D

Markus 28 October 2008 04:57 PM

They are calling for "less than 1cm" of snow overnight tonight here. It's a nice warm -3 at present and it's said to be -4 overnight. Lovely :D

I think the snowfall we'd get tonight, if it happens, will equate to a major shutdown if the same fell in the UK :D

Lee247 28 October 2008 05:03 PM

Brilliant sunshine here today, but flipping cold :)

Steve_PPP 28 October 2008 05:24 PM
