Hi lads, bit of an odd sign up here as its not an impreza but my dad has recently bought a Forester SF5(i think) on a V reg(1999/2000) and its basically my job to get it into shape.

I was just wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction of a few parts like window switch unit clips and the overhead clock unit, and a front grille badge as some **** has nicked it, maybe some breakers near west yorkshire or anyone know of any breakers(tried the ones on eBay) or if the impreza parts are the same

I've already started to refurb them standard wheels for him as he's impressed with the work on my car :norty:

Hpe you don't mind me being on here as the forester isn't really seen as a scooby....especially as he didn't opt for the turbo :wonder:

Cheers :)

Hey, welcome fella.

Doesn't matter that you don't have an Impreza, loads of people on here don't have one and there are lots with foresters too I think. I may be wrong but I thought Foresters are fairly similar to Impreza's under the skin anyway so there should be loads of help here anyway.

Hope you enjoy the forums :)

Tom

p.s. Forgot to say, might be worth popping across to General as well for Forster info etc.

My daughter is your age, mate. Well ,she is factually sixteen :D Her BF is 17, tying to pass his driving test. he is far too over-confident, so he actually has failed his test 3 times by now :lol1:

that like me lol.....learned the basic driving at 14 on my driveway(as you can see from pics its rather large) and in car parks.....need to calm don though like.....used to launch it al the time on the old wheels but just got them 17's and had to shell out on tyres so will calm it a bit....gonna be like a granny hen driving i reckon as i love mi car.....its quicker than the 2.0 forester and its only a 1.8

EDIT: and yeah i know my typing is crap lol....so try to decipher it as best as possible :)
