Brake Advice
 
hi

jsut changed my brake lines and used dot 5 fluid.

brakes work fine just too much pedal travel

how do i sort this

i have a v4 type r


any advice gratefully recieved

pedal travel has increased because you havnt bleed the brakes enough,i had the same problem,when i changed my lines and fluid.Bleed them again with 10 on/ off applications on each corner.My pedal is now mega firm and right at the top

it was garage that installed the lines etc

ill give them a bell

same here,but sometimes it takes a while for all the air to make its way to the bleed screws, as a lot of air gets in when the lines come off.I drove mine around for a day or so,then rebled,and a load more air came out,result,mega firm pedal..
