EBC Discs n Pads y/n
whats the general opinion on EBC discs and pads on here?
Im looking to replace my rear discs and pads all round, im looking for replacements not really fussed about improvements as the car is standard (uk sti) and i dont drive it hard and the originals were more than adequate. theres so much to choose from and price ranges, its beginning to get on my tits, any info would b much appreciated cheers :) I was looking at 'red stuff' pads and standard solid discs, £342 good or bad idea :wonder: |

EBC massively overated buy EBC and they wear your disc nice and fast.
For standard/OEM you would be better advised to go to your local motor factor, usually a very good price and will be R90 approved. failing that if you want an upgrade then DS2500's will be a good upgrade. |
I found the EBC pitted and grooved disks quite good. Looked nice and lasted well. I had red stuff pads too which were terrible though - made a lot of noise, didn't stop great and lasted about 4000 miles if that. Better products out there for similar money.
