HANKOOK TYRES
Hankook tyres are they any good for my track wheels
only one's i can find so far that will fit......215/35/18.....? |
i was recommended the Hankook RS2's by Camskills, i have not tried them yet but as they are very competetive on price they may be worth a look?

Yeah i've seen them on there site just wanted to now if they were any good.. they seem to be the only track tyre in my size.....

I used Hankook ventus sports on my 450bhp Turbo 2000. They were excellent tyres. Long lasting with excellent grip in both when and dry.
When you did find the limit they let go progressively so no scary suprises. I used to swear by Toyo's but these are a far better tyre in all areas and alot cheaper too. I got 20K miles out of the fronts and the rears are still good for a few more. Just to add that these were on 215 35 18 too. Daz |

I have RS2's on my track wheels for my Fabia. For the money they're excellent, although not as good as the RE070's I had on the Scoob. I was recommended them by a mate who had an Ariel Atom 300 and he preferred them over R888's on track, offering a more progressive break-away and much more wet grip. Be careful on them over the first 4-500 miles as they seem to release a lot of oil from the compound and can catch you out, especially in the wet. Once run-in they are very good, with a sturdy shoulder to cope with track cornering. HTH
