Honey glazed ribs??

Anyone got any tips for honey glazed bacon ribs? I usually marinade them over night with some jamaican stuff, but I forgot to do it last night:Whatever_ All I've got is some honey, but never used it before!! Was gonna throw some garlic and chillies in, then just rub them with honey? Any sugestions will be most welcome:)

no suggestions but a question.

What time is tea?

With stuff like that I'd boil it first for an hour or so in stock with some herbs, garlic, chilli etc to suit.

Then glaze with honey and roast.

crushed peppercorns is always a good thing to rub on your meat

I was gonna part boil them, but I usually just stick them in the oven for a couple of hours or so on a low heat - not sure if the honey will make them cook quicker/burn with the added sugar in the honey? Oh, and tea time is 8:30, unless I fook these ribs up, then it will be a Vinderloo at 9:D

i would roast them with chilli / onion /garlic and ginger based olive oil
spooning the oil over the ribs every 20 mins or so.
then brush with the honey for the last 10mins cooking time.

luvly jubbly, ill be round at 8.30 also !!! :)

Cheers Dazza, that sounds like a plan - I take it normal olive oil will do? I've got some ground ginger, so I could sprinkle some of that in?

I once cooked this Marinated Pork with Jerk Seasoning and Grilled Pineapple Salsa from Delia Online which was pretty tasty. :thumb:

But this is probably closer to what you seek. Devilled Spare Ribs from Delia Online

Why ribs? Get some belly pork for some reall flavour.
