what to look out for?
 

hi guys,i posted in general chat getting not much feedback:wonder:

im lookin at buying a classic wrx wagon 94/95 year import,
not owned one before so any usual problems or common faults i should be lookin for would be appreciated,cheers:)

Try to buy a standard one or at least one that hasn't has lot of electronic gizmos on it.
Smokey turbo on start up,3rd gear seems to be a weak point but just have a general nose round the engine bay for leaks or signs of fluid leaks.

Have alook on pistonheads or autotrader,put the links up and see what people say

I have an early 96 wagon and its been great aside a few leaky gaskets fairly common to any scoob . if i had another i would get a late 96 because they updated the interiour etc. just use common sense if it looks dodgy might be best to avoid it
