Contacting AOL
 

How in God's name do you contact AOL.
On a bad day my broadband speed is around 5.5 to 6 mb .
During the evening it plummets to 0.3 mb.
At the weekend I can often find myself unable to connect.
Being sat in front of my screen displaying an error is not my way of relaxing.
I want to ask someone nicely to help me, however I cannot find a number!! Maybe they think I'll shout at them.......

Cheers. Just spent a wonderful 7 minutes speaking to Shahil (Sp) in pidgin English. She checked my router worked ( I told her I knew that already) but hey ho, I got the feeling she really wanted to know for sure, perhaps she wouldn't be able to sleep until she was safe in the knowledge my router still worked.
She then went on to tell me that all AOL customers were experiencing slow speeds and this would be resolved soon :mad: :mad: :mad:
When probed, she said this would be in a day or 2 :mad: :mad: :mad:
I have a feeling this is the same woman who assured me that if I didn't receive a new AOL disc the following day some years ago, I could go to her house for it. The disc never arrived and when I phoned for her details I was assured she would call me back. Still, she can sleep well tonight safe in the knowledge that my Bast*rd router still works :mad: :mad: :mad:

When aol works, there fine, when it dosent, there hell !!!

i bailed early from them, as there service & customer service was so appalling


they run on the lines of....


we only have to provide an internet connection that works,

if you get 6mb all well and good, if you get 256k then thats fine too, you still

have an internet connection.

fix it.

why it isnt broken!!!
