phantom squeak
 

there is something irritating me with my car at the moment...there seems to be some form of squeaking when driving after the car has fully warmed up....its not overly loud...and i dont notice it when the car is moving cold,it doesnt seem to be just underbrakeing or when cornering,its more like when ever it wants to...sometimes it does it alot and then it might not do it at all,so im slightly confused,pads are due for renewing soon could that be the cause of it??:freak3:

Lol, must be the season, as I've got one coming from rear suspension. I think mine may be the roll bar bushing..:wonder:

Is your squeak constant or oscillating..? If it's only happening when braking then that's likely to be to problem. Could be a small stone in the pad..? Try giving the brakes a good work out, this usually resolve's any pad contamination issues..;)

cheers mate...i gave the brakes etc a good go with the jet wash and it appears to have solved it for now.lets just hope it doesnt come back to haunt me again
