Turbo 2000 vs WRX

Hey,

I used to own an 02 WRX with PPP and I'm now considering returning to the scooby scene with a Turbo 2000.

My main question is: what kind of running costs are you looking at for a turbo 2000 compared to a later model WRX? Worse? better? Am I right in thinking you could run a standard turbo 2000 on regular unleaded instead of 97ron?

I haven't got as much disposable income as I had with the WRX, so I need to figure out if I can actually afford to run a turbo 2000 before I do anything.

Cheers

I went from a Turbo 2000 to 03 WRX PPP. Running costs are very similar with the exception of servicing, 6 months for the 2000 and 12 months for the WRX.

If you want to stick with the scheduled service times, then unless you do it yourself or use an independent, I would say it's going to cost you slightly more.
