the family

I know your all going to say its crap, and your probably right but, it was funny last night.

All the problems that you have in your own family,

kids arguing, not going to bed answering back and smart arsed remarks,

wife not backing you up or appearing interested.

you do think its only you but it was quite refreshing and laugh out loud funny at some points, to see what happens in your own home is mirrored in others.

:)

Watched the first one and got bored of what looked like a crack addict women sitting in bed all day watching TV, probably watching herself?
Strange TV show.

it just tickled me, the kids squabbling, thought it was just our house

Am I the only person that thinks this isn't real? It feels very scripted, IMHO

nah, it's just a bunch of people very aware about what makes reality TV tick. in other words i don't think you'll really see the 'real them', too many 'hello mum, i'm on telly' moments.

mind you, it must be difficult to be totally yourself with a film crew following you around!

the mum just lounges around in bed al the time looking stoned moaning about how old she is !!

Watched 5 minutes of it then switched over. It was garbage. What an irritating bunch :thumb:

id shag the mother no bother , and the daughter on a weekend night ..

EddScott 09 October 2008 09:29 AM

The dad was a bit of an arse TBH. The lad was a typical bolshy youngster and the dad behaved equally as childish.

The mother probably was pretty at one point but her eyes are awful and all the kids have inherited that guppy-esque mouth.

The daughter did look hot but then shes a mid to late teen whos discovered shes got great legs and boobs and like her friends is showing them off. As a father of a daughter it puts me in fear of the arguments I'm destined to have over suitable evening wear :(

Nice

Is it for real or not? Watched about 10 depressing minutes of it and switched over. Couldn't make my mind up if it was for real or not.

I agree with Jacko mate, at 1st i thought oh no not Another real life program, but whilst waiting for the other half to finish brushing his teeth before bed i thought , this is actually quite amusing!! it also mirrored my family to some degree!!! (no i dont sit on the bed all day looking like a junky) but the arguments etc , the youngest son is so like my 11 year old, and i can only imagine my 13 year old daughter will be just like the older daughter Emily? i think her name is..... my husband doesnt think i support him enough in times of arguments, But hey we all have a different oppinion in life!!

I dont want my kids to be 4rses, but at the same time let them be kids and grow up and experience life!!!! we all did! i was the worst teenager in the world!!! and maybe thats why i let my kids get away with so much!

But ref the family, im sure some of it is for the benifit for the cameras, but it must hard to be normal with them in your house!! All i can say is im glad its not me on there! I'd hate my grandad to realise how much i swear!!!!

We've had alot of this recently and we only have a 7 year old daughter. One of us would argue with her, the other get involved and it would be us who ends up not speaking.

We now have a deal that if either of us enter an argument with our daughter we deal with it ourselves and the other stays out of it. By our inaction, it prevents us from falling out and shows our daughter she can't pay us off against each other.

Children are very good at playing one against the other and you don't even realise they've done it to you until your sweeping up the china.
