Funny British Comedians
Off to see Jimmy Carr on Monday in Reading where its Reading Comedy Festival. Didnt realise how many acts were in town as would have liked to have seen Jason Manford. Him and Sean Lock on 8 out of 10 cats are fecking hilarious.
Also like that Frankie Boyle but not seen much of him. Watched the Secret Policemans ball and a lot of it was rubbish I thought. Who do the rest of you find funny currently? Simon |
Lennie Henry is king :lol1:
|
I am off to see Steve Coogan in 4 weeks who I havent seen live before, but as a lifelong fan of Sir Alan of Partridge I dont expect to be dissapointed.
Ross Noble and Bill Bailey are also quality British comedians... I have tickets to see Ross Noble for next may - it will be the third tour I have seen of his and I have seen Bill Bailey 3 times also.... |
Seen Jimmy Carr,Jonny vegas,Bill Bailey,Peter Kay to name a few.
Seen Frankie Boyle 3 times now and he is supurb.. He seems hot property at the moment, hae ya seen the price of tour tickets on ebay?????? |
Stephen Fry&Alan Davies plus lee Evans and billy connolly!
|
Best British comic..........
Bernard Manning. R.I.P. ;) |
Tommy Cooper :thumb:
Frankie Boyle was on in Lincoln last night, couldnt get a ticket though. |
Billy Connolly, some people hate him but i went to see him in London and i was falling off my chair. absolutely brilliant in every sense.

Bernard Manning. R.I.P. ;) Didn't like him at all tbh!!!!! Thats because he ripped the p*** out of me and my old fella when i went to see him!:lol1: Manning to my Dad: 'F**king hell you look a foreign b***ard to me where ya from son? My old fella: 'Actually i'm from Jewish decent' (Manning was from Jewish decent as well) so my dad thought he wouldn't say anything against them. Manning: 'So that makes it alright then does it?' the whole place fell about laughing! |
frankie boyle is well funny.
as is andy parsons and sean lock. peter kay has me in tears though !!! :) |
Peter Kay is a star alright.
I wonder why so many of them feel they have to get their laughs by using obscene language these days. Its not funny anyway and shows a lack of something in their act. Les |

He`s so unfunny, he makes me cringe. |
I watched Steve Coogan last Sunday night at Derby Assembly Rooms.
His Alan Partridge sketch on the 2nd half was hilarious! Saxondale was good too. I won't spoil it as one of the posters above is yet to see it. Nick |
rik mayall and adrian edmondson.
Undisputed kings of slapstick and physical humour. Astraboy. |
I'm going to see Frankie Boyle on 9th November. Can't wait!
|
Frankie Boyle is king! Peter Kays jokes are older than the sun..
"What's the difference between Gary Glitter's girlfriends and peter kay's jokes? peter kay's jokes are all over 10 years old." |

You're kidding! Have you seen him in the Premier Travel Inn adverts? He pretends he's really annoyed, but actually he's really happy because he stayed in a cheap hotel. It's hilarious.
Those adverts are absolute pants. Go on you enjoy him :thumb: |

Jimmy Carr, Fankie Boyle and Jethro have me in stitches.
Russel Brand is about as funny as having your knob cut off :nono: |
Eddie Izzard can be quite funny but I would agree that Frankie Boyle is hilarious.
