Do you find stuff?

I never seem to find anything :(

Chap i live with found a really nice ring on Friday and is always finding money on the street....£40 last month in one go!

It's not that i don't keep my eye out either....but all i seem to see is fag butts and chewing gum :lol1:

ScoobyWon't 05 October 2008 11:31 PM

Do you get drunk often and (coincedentally) lose the same things that he finds? :wonder:

Nat 05 October 2008 11:32 PM

No :lol1:

I don't lose things either though so that's good i suppose.

Tam the bam 05 October 2008 11:33 PM

I find loads of interesting sh!t, from mobiles to full tubs of Armani Elle, lol, think I was a Magpie in my last life :D

ScoobyWon't 05 October 2008 11:37 PM

I'm always amazed that people lose shoes in pub car parks. Surely you'd notice that one has fallen off, no matter how drunk you get...

Tam the bam 05 October 2008 11:45 PM

My best find ever was a pound note, my ma was being a fecker by not giving me a squid for the slinkey I saw' at a market stall, I turned around just about to cry and there was a crisp pound on the the ground, I picked it up and bought my slinkey :D Yay God sent me a pound!!! :D

Tam the bam 05 October 2008 11:52 PM

Found a jerry/gerry can of petrol/Diesel, dunno what, but the pigs took it off me 100 yards from the house, after I'd dragged the fooking thing about 3 mile :(

little-ginge 06 October 2008 12:10 AM

My mum was sweeping the path outside our house a few autumns ago and there was an envelope in the leaves. £50 note inside. The envelope was blank so we couldnt return it to anyone..:D

I always manage to find the shopping trolley which some wally has left their £1 coin in...I think I must have had about a tenner this summer:lol1:

little-ginge 06 October 2008 12:10 AM

What I want to know is how single shoes end u p on the motorway:wonder:

little-ginge 06 October 2008 12:11 AM

ScoobyWon't 06 October 2008 12:21 AM

That'll teach you. Next time buy second-hand trainers. :)

I found £15 in Sansburys last week and handed it to customer services thinking it could be some old ladys. When I got outside I realised it was my money that had fallen out my pocket. I have to wait 6 weeks to claim it as I don't want to go in and tell them what I did.

I once found 2 £50 pound notes when I was about 8, that was a LOT of money back then.

My dad took it off me and said he would look after it for me, never did see it again

Kieran_Burns 06 October 2008 09:44 AM

riding home on Friday I found a two pound coin. I actually rode over it and heard the noise it made.

Paid for the train fare in the morning, so a free trip in that day :D (ish)

scoobyvirgin 06 October 2008 09:55 AM

I found a mobile phone in the park not so long back, shabby old nokia. Other than that, found the odd fiver while out and about while younger.

davegtt 06 October 2008 10:21 AM

Found a few things, couple of mobile phones but always look through the phone book and find out who it belongs to and hand it in, dont know why I do though considering nobody hands in anything I lose :(

Scoobychick 06 October 2008 10:25 AM

I went through a phase of finding stuff, it was excellent. I found a sapphire and diamond gold ring on a beach in Greece, a camera, about £100 in twenties stuck to the slop on the floor of a club, a fiver on the floor of a petrol station, a chequebook AND card, and a purse :thumb: I managed to find the owner of the purse and chequebook so gave them back and I had the photos on the camera developed at the resort and looked around to try and find it's owner but failed. I gave the ring to my nan and spent the cash :thumb:

Also I once found love but that's another story ;) :D

SwissTony 06 October 2008 12:13 PM
