Spring value?
Having just put a set of front lowering springs on my car today (which I got for literally pence), I have been left with 2 sets of front standard springs.
Does anyone know what these would be worth to a scrap yard dealer, as I assume they are worth nothing on Ebay etc? Thought the steel the srpings are made from may be worth a couple of quid, and it gets rid of all 4 of 'em I guess? Any info on this:wonder: :) |
Stick it in a corner, collect other bits of scarp metal as you go and when you have a decent amount, weigh it in, I dont think 15 lbs of old springs would be worth the petrol to drive it to the scrapman.

I think it's now down to £70/ton.
Why don't you just attach the springs to your feet and use them as a fun mode of transport? :lol1: |
