"Generation Kill" watched the 1st + 2nd episodes, and it has to be the best TV series in a long time, up there with "Dexter".

Watched it a couple of month ago & really enjoyed it.

Surprisingly it shows some of the mistakes the americans made, not just portraying them as conquering heros like most american series & movies do.

Which is why I like it, it's very down to earth for yank standards IMHO.

When and where is it on? FX?

Yes, or HBO I guess.

FX advertise it as part of their autumn schedule, but I couldn't find any indication of a start date.

FX and the sorts can be hard to keep up with, either they repeat like hell or they breeze through the show..............:mad:

Had a further search around and seems it won't be on FX until sometime in January.

Could be because they've just started showing Breaking Bad and Burn Notice now Dexter's finished.

Burn Notice isnt a bad series either, took me ages to realise the bird in it was in pres sgang years ago, knew i recognised her form somewhere.

Breaking bad is quite good aswell.

breaking bad is good and season 3 of dexter has started now.

Watched the first 2 episodes tonight, was a bit slow to get going but enjoyable.

Been waiting for Generation kill for a while now.I need my fix after 'The Wire' finished.
If no one has seen it,look it up-worth the investment in time(IMO!).
Checking out the new JJ Abrams show -Fringe at the mo.A bit like X files at the mo...
