Think it was 114.9 the other night when I filled up :smug:

slipstream_uk 04 October 2008 11:11 AM

Dont moan, your bloody lucky at that price. Im paying 116.9 for super unleaded 97 ron.
Im still waiting for my local petrol station to put its prices down. They where quick to put them up, but not down.
Thats the problem with franchised Esso stations, They set a minimal price then the owner wacks his cut on it.

Luckyscoob 04 October 2008 11:14 AM

Did you get some strange looks when you were taking a picture of the pump :lol1:

stuart n 04 October 2008 11:16 AM

Tesco's 99RON is down to 109.9 in Colchester. V power at the Shell garage near where I work is still at 115.9 :wonder:

chocolate_o_brian 04 October 2008 11:23 AM

Haven't checked V-power recently, but I know normal Unleaded here is 106.9 a Litre.

James Neill 04 October 2008 11:43 AM

Tesco 99RON is 116.9p in Aylesbury/Bicester

122.9 in Bristol, 116.9 5 miles down the road ....... madness

does it really cost that much to transport fuel a measly few miles??

BlooSooby 04 October 2008 12:12 PM

Whinge, whinge, whinge....I'm paying 1.48 per litre mate.......er, hang on, that's AU$1.48.

That works out to about 65p a litre. Mind you, it was $1.15 a year ago..

same for the regular fuel, tesco dearer by 1 or 2p than shell

Interesting how the price of oil has dropped considerably yet we are still being stiched up at the pumps. It will never be below a £1 a litre again now. :(

Still the government is making the right noises and putting pressure on the oil
companies...NOT!!!

El Cat 04 October 2008 05:03 PM

shell where i live was 106.9 for normal and 114.9 for V power
