get in contact with paul from murray cars (scubbay on here) as he organises andy to come over every couple of months and might have more people lined up.

Don't suppose you would know how much for an 03 STI with PPP to have a Simtek ECU fitted and mapped including anti lag and launch control ??

resintooth 02 October 2008 08:08 PM

i'll let you know asap dude.:norty:

daddyscoob 02 October 2008 09:40 PM

thanks - really love the anti lag and launch control

resintooth 02 October 2008 09:51 PM

I've sent you a PM. did you get it?

petedotuk 02 October 2008 10:17 PM

how come your price for previous andy mapped cars is slightly dearer than Andy's website?

From Andy's site
Subsequent mapping of a licenced ECU is £195+v if it my own base map

resintooth 02 October 2008 10:26 PM

this is because we have to pay for him to fly over here and too stay somewhere for the night. Would you be interested?

gojonnyjo 02 October 2008 10:33 PM

i was talking about his re-map price without travel costs,£195 +vat which is what he carges, you want £210 +vat??

He mapped mine last month m8, and unless my 20g arrives very shortly so I can get it fitted I wont be able to get it done till after xmas.

Can really recommend him though as he smoothed out my car and unleashed another 10lbft torque!

scubbay 03 October 2008 03:59 PM

Prices havent changed Pete since the first visit.

OLLIeRB5 06 October 2008 10:29 PM

i got mine ecutekd by him in june but since getting it fitted, every attempt to contact him has fell on deaf ears and ive had no reply to several emails.

i do plan on getting a simtek fitted in the new year tho, and ill certainly be pricing with andy as i was more than happy with his remap on mine... and i do know hes a busy man, so hopefully my email regarding a simtek will be replied to

cant recommend andy forest/scubbay enough for the difference my car is from before and after the mapping session. :luxhello:

burt2000 18 October 2008 04:06 PM

if i could get a hold of andy to discuss what i should do before my next remap i would probably get it done again bur he never answers the phone or relies to emails, ive been trying for weeks now

urban 20 October 2008 02:13 PM

Before I had my remap I sent 1 email.
I got 1 reply.

I sent another email after the remap

I got another reply too.

I think you're not goint to get him on the phone to be fair.
Do you not remember him asking for mobiles to be turned off whilst he downloaded the maps?

burt2000 20 October 2008 07:41 PM

i know he is busy all the time ill try the email route again lol
