Fitting GGR Uprated Oil Pump, does it need priming
 

Hi All,
In the middle of doing the dreaded headgaskets, while they are away being skimmed and the engine is sitting on the bench I am thinking about fitting a GGR Uprated Oil pump as the car is only used for sprinting. Will I need to prime it before or after fitting and if so how is this done

When fitting my Api pump,i just removed the crank sensor connector,turned the engine over till the oil light went out. This will prime it fine. You still need to fill the oil filter as normal.
