APEXI AVCR & FMIC

Hi all :)

Another newbi here, so any info is much appreciated:thumb:

I've just bought an N registered Subaru WRX Turbo Automatic Wagon. The only mod it has is a full stainless hayward and scott exhaust system and a daft K&N stle air filter.

It is still restricted, still has km/h speedo and never been hammered, all MOT's since its import in 2000.

I have to have an auto due to being in a wheelchair (the legs don't work after a bike smash), but the driveability is just as good as a geared subaru if you ask me.

So what's the worries?? I would like a bit more poke and acceleration out of it, and am wondering where to start as so many peolple can give so many different answers.

 I was thinking of fitting a front mounted intercooler for a start and am looking for an Apexi AVCR so that the boost can be controlled properly from within the car. The next job is to obviously get the car set up properly on a rolling road.

Has anyone got any info or tips for me who has fitted the above?

I need a FMIC, an AVCR and someone to do the rolling road. C'mon peeps, where's the best place to take your pride and joy?

Thanks,

Mark:D

You do not need ether of the two things you have spoken about.

What you need is a remap.

Your car can use ESL mapping or a Apexi pfc and commander.

ESL will cost you about £525 mapped and the other about £795 fitted and mapped.

This should get you close on 280 bhp and you will (should) be pretty happy with that i would of thought.
