Passenger airbag deactivate Fiesta ?
 

Does anyone know how to deactivate the passenger air bag on an 04 plate Ford Fiesta ?

There is no key in the glove box to do it like on some cars, Ford dealer says can do it but £250 !
IS there a kit available or anyone know the parts required ?
Dont fancy just disconnecting the cable underneath the seat to turn it off !

sorry to hijack kinda but i have a forester and it has a passenger airbag and in the same boat is there not a way so i have control to turn on and off the airbag

can you not just unscew it from the rear of the stearing wheel , then unplug the wires and refix

lol I'm talking about the passenger airbag not the drivers - clue (i thought) was in the title !

Doesn't sound like a DIY job to me. If you really don't want to fork out, I guess you could try to track down the workshop manual?

aah yes i wasent finished , i was gona say then drive it into a wall ,then when the pasanger one go's off then refit the drivers one...job done ;)
