Does my front end look Halfords in this?

While looking around before replacing the non crystal lights on my Scoob with crystal ones, saw these:

Subaru Impreza Chrome Angel Eye Headlights, Chrome Angel Eye Headlights Subaru Impreza

I like the projector lenses, but I'm not sure if these might make the car look a bit chavvy.

What do you think?

If anyone has a shot of a Scoob with these fitted, please post.

some people like them some dont.

Andy Forest has them on his scoob so they dont slow you down obviously :)

But as to taste, well personally I quite like them, but they seem to garner a marmite response

You can get them cheaper:
SUBARU IMPREZA CHROME ANGEL EYE HEADLIGHTS STi WRX NEW on eBay, also, Subaru, Car Parts, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 24-Sep-08 20:36:33 BST)
And in black, which i think looks better!
SUBARU IMPREZA BLACK ANGEL EYE HEADLIGHTS STi WRX NEW on eBay, also, Subaru, Car Parts, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 24-Sep-08 20:41:23 BST)

What year is your car? If it's the pre facelift, then the gapping will be a little off between the bonnet/light,also the grill won't line up quite right.See above pic.

IMO its halfords all the way........

if you have the time try retrofitting some OEM projectors into your standard Subaru headlights, just like me :D

They look nice,do you adjust them like normal? Also, did you have to buy a whole light,or can you get the projectors on their own?

Depending on your projectors and the way you fit them, you can use your standard dash adjuster to move them up and down. In terms of the actual Bi-Xenon Projector they were sourced from a accident repair garage.

Remember you'll need the Projector as well as the Ballast (together with the basic wiring). Then its just a case of making the wiring harness up and fitting the projector into the Subaru headlight....... Also I opted to fit some Angel Eyes while I had the lights open & light up the badge...:D

Yeah, I followed your thread on creating these, they are absolutely superb. Of course if you fancy knocking me up a set that would be great ;), but somehow I doubt I'd have the time, skill or patience myself...

Those Autoart lamps do look better in black, but somehow remind me of a late model Almera (shudders). I suspect it'll be crystal lights for me.

projectors i bought for my 96 classic fitted okay, but as above they did have a small gap, to which i rectified by buying some rubber tubing (like what youll find around your car door) and it was ok. but the black projectors look nice, mine were from awesome imports on ebay, fast delivery and ok price. tbh though if you have the patience and skill, do what Darms has done! they look brilliant

To tell you the truth mate it took me over 6 months to get the bottle to work on my crystals. I was lucky to pic up a set of non crystal headlights form a fellow SN member and practiced on them first.

Had bit bad news at the McRae Gathering - one of my CCFL's packed up :( - after a bit of testing I found out it was one of the inverters. Oh well..... these things happen.

Sent an email to the Manufacturers in China who were kind enough to send me not just one replacement inverter but 3! (2 for spare) :D. I also took the opportunity to get another 2 spare CCFL's. (just in case). What great service from the far east :thumb:

But the angel eyes aren't wired up. They aren't to my taste and i will be selling them as soon as i get some clears or depos.
