hi just wanted your views on the above turbo charger, what power is it good for, would it be a direct replacement for my04 wrx etc

i have a vf 29 on my car and am very happy with it boosts at around 4k revs, mine is set to 1.3 bar and is still boosting around 1.1 by the red line. standard on the uk sti i think.

It was standard on the version 6 wrx ra, excellent turbo awesome response and will make around 330/340bhp.

Yes it is a straight swap, the only thing I would suggest is that you use the correct banjo bolt for the turbo oil feed on the back of the offside cylinder head.

You would need a bigger injectors and an uprated fuel pump on a WRX to make the most of a VF29, but even just a turbo swap and remap would see an easy, safe 300-310bhp, they are a very nice turbo to drive, with smooth power delivery.
