Apexi induction kit for 98 UK turbo: Do they make them?
I ordered an Apexi kit for my car last week, which arrived last night. Went to fit it today, and the holes don't line up.
Here's a photo of the gasket that came with the Apexi kit, to show the difference. http://i292.photobucket.com/albums/m...3/P1000389.jpg Now, my car definetly has the original engine, as my MAF failed last week. Subaru ordered that using my chassis number and that was fitted a few days ago without any problem. The original induction kit also fitted staight on to that. So I'm just wondering if this is a cock up by the company supplying the Apexi kit, or if one is even made for my car? Thanks Alan |
I recently fitted an Apexi to my MY98 (JDM). I'm assuming they would be the same? The kit included a gasket that fitted perfectly, plus a bracket that uses one of the original airbox mounting points. Hope this helps...
When I get a chance, I'll grab the part number off the box so you can compare. p.s. I might be selling it soon, so if anyone's interested, drop me a line. |

Is it a WRX or Sti you have? Do you have a square MAF sensor? Like so - http://i292.photobucket.com/albums/m...3/P1000390.jpg I'm needing the kit before Wednesday, as it's being mapped. :brickwall really shouldn't have left everything to the last minute! |
