Power steering pump in TypeR

Hi all,

could anyone tell me, please - does STI TypeR with quick steering rack have exactly the same power steering pump as others Imprezas? Or does the pump differ in something in construction?

I mean specifically sti v5/6 type R / Type RA comparing to the "normal", regular STi from these models, but with standard steering rack.

cheers

should just be the same mate, like u say the steering racks is the difference.

I hope so anyway :)
However I've been once told the TypeR power steering pump has different part number and is different. Maybe they were wrong then.

But actually drilling further - are those all pumps exactly the same beside the fluid tanks, over the years? I know the older Imprezas have pump with round tanks, while newer have... let's say square tanks...

cheers
