In case any of you havn,t heard Mark Fisher , the rising young star of rallying was killed today , aged 26 .
He was travelling with in his father Bertie's helecopter back from celebrating his mothers birthday along with his parents , sister and brother and they crashed near their home in Fermanagh .
His sister , 24 , was also killed in the crash . His parents are critically ill and his brother is stable .
Many of you will remember the close battles Bertie had in the Legacy and later the Impreza with Austin McCale and others in the Irish tarmac championship . Mark looked set for even greater things and was on the verge of breaking into the world rallying scene .
This is a great loss to both his parents and the rallying community and we all pray that his parents and brother make a full recovery .
I'm sure any of you that know them would like to join me in offering the Fisher family our sincere condolences on their loss .

My brother rang me to tell me the bad news as he knew Mark quite well, I also knew Mark as he competed on the Seat Ibiza Challenge a couple of years ago and would like to pass on my condolences.

Darren.

These people risk their lives entertaining people like ourselves by doing what we wish we could do.

Condolences to all the family and friends.
