96 sti is not working correctly when cold!!

Hi I wonder if any one could help?
My car does not like driving from cold when I first start it in a morning it doesn't pull it just bogs. I have to clutch it to keep the revs up.
I've changed coilpacks and have checked for cracks all ok, newish plugs 1000 miles ago. The car is ok when warm, runs fine.
Is this a common problem? I was thinking air flow meter, cold start switch or lamda sensor is there any way of testing these seeming its a 96 sti?
Thanks Danny

Had the same problem with my sti ra changed the lamda sensor and fixed the problem

Sounds like the same problem I had, as above, fitted a new lambda and that fixed it.
I wasn't getting any error codes or CELs. It seems to me that it was just as the car was switching over to closed loop running. I.e. it was fine for a couple of minutes after first starting form cold, then it would missfire for minute or so, then it would be fine again.
