Tyres on a Blobeye STI
Im going to need new tyres soon.
Ive got Uniroyal Rain Sport 1 on the STI at the moment and found them to be quite good both in the wet and dry, ive also got 19,000 out of them and they only set you back £85 from Mytyres. Ive had Bridgestone Potenza RE050's on my last WRX but after having the Uniroyal im not sure what to go for this time. What you got ? |
Best tyres by far I've had on mine were the RE070's. I bought 4 more yesterday after my current set of Toyo R888's lasted 1000 miles.

Alternatively.........I have these up for grabs:
http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y99...j/DSC00085.jpg Toyo T1R 225/45/17, done around 1500 miles, 6 to 7mm of tread on them, guaranteed no punctures or damage......I've only taken them off coz I wanted to go back to RE070's |
Has to be RE070's mate. Super sticky, good looking and not too bad in the wet either.
