BBC short of news...?

What are the BBC playing at?
BBC NEWS | Technology | Hackers prepare supermarket sweep

The "source" of this story is a forum discussion FFS, can you imagine if they picked up on half the bollox on here and classified as news...? :D

Would be quite good actually.

Imagine a national debate on the usefulness of infractions and how many aliases PSL has.

"Snazy breaks something"

"Swiss tells a funny joke"

:D

Actually scrap that second one, it's never going to happen :lol1:

But everyone who uses the automated checkout could walk out with a bottle of wine that they haven't paid for.

One assumes that the supermarkets have carried out a risk assesment, and the saving from having unmanned checkouts exceeds the losses incurred by this type of fraud.

Don't worry Les the NAAFI isn't on the list of target supermarkets:lol1:

The NAAFI shop always used to be the most expensive place to do the shopping!
