A car belonging to one of the top rally drivers in the UK has been stolen in County Tyrone.

A trailer carrying the Subaru Impreza was taken from outside licensed premises in Coalisland at about 0430 BST on Friday.

The car belongs to Welsh driver Wynn Humphries who is in Northern Ireland for the Ulster leg of the British rally championship this weekend.

Police are trying to trace a blue van seen in the area at the time.

The stolen car is coloured green, white and black.
