Which alloys for a silver blob?

I just cant decide? !:wonder:

too many to choose from! I quite like the inovit ones with the redlip ... or prodrive but they are generally very expensive!

kylejennings05 19 August 2008 03:56 PM

gotta be black though imo :)

D.O.M 19 August 2008 04:14 PM

^ black and silver is a great combo

Mikkel 19 August 2008 04:23 PM

^ Agreed :)

The usual suspects are OZ, Speedline or Prodrive. Innovits are a good cheaper alternative.

I couldn't decide myself, so just powder coated the standard STi alloys as think they suit the car... you could pick up Hawkeye STi alloys cheap, but not sure if they fit... another possible option anyway.

If budget was not an issue I think I would go for Oz Ultraleggras in black.

That's what I'm planning on mine , but I think I'll go for a gunmetal colour.

Anthracite/Gunmetal PFF7 or Redlines look great on Silver cars.

The Black ones with the Red lip are a matt finish and look like they will mark/scratch really easy.

Got to agree with you there mate. They're popular for very good reason.

Which flaps have you got on yours? I have a silver hawkeye with the same wheels and was considering the flaps because of the amount cow stuff we have around here?

lorrainecallison 19 August 2008 10:16 PM

lorraines son says:black or silver

EAndy 19 August 2008 11:06 PM

The mudflaps were on my car when I bought it, they're just back with STI in Pink with Subaru Tecnica International or what not below it.

The stickers are starting to fall apart now no idea how long they've been on car i've had it 1 year + however long they were on from previous owner. So rather than get new ones think i'll just Ebay some stickers.

Luther 19 August 2008 11:13 PM

Previous owner painted the wheels black.... cr*p paint job but they really suit the car. When I have a little more money, I'll probably just get mine powdercoated black and stick with them.... :thumb:

thanks for the tips, I think it s worth saving some £££££'s and getting some decent wheels. THe prodrives are really good, I think they had some in a local shop for an absolute steal price but they were in the gold type colour ...
